After the most successful presentation of Nozomi Satomi's poetic performance "Who Am I?" at THESPIS in 2006, we are very proud to present another splendid actress from Japan. Since her early childhood, Hotaka Hagiwara is addicted to theatre. She studied drama, traditional Japanese dance and swordplay, and 1994-2007 she performed with the renowned theatre company Kuna'uka, presenting the Japanese theatre traditions of Nō, Rakugo and Bunraku (puppet theatre) in a contemporary way.
Since 2005 Hotaka Hagiwara is on the road with her so called "delivery theatre", "Mari Mari". She will be accompanied by Masakazu Teramoto, a master of Mongolian overtone singing.
